If you’ve ever searched for the best esthetician in Dallas for acne or corrective skincare, you’ve probably noticed something: Everyone recommends products.

But what most clients don’t realize is that many of those recommendations are influenced by brand partnerships, ambassadorships, and sales incentives.

And that’s exactly why I chose a different path, the DANGSKYN path, my own lane, the one that makes other estheticians wonder what continues to make us the best rated skincare studio in Dallas.

At one point in my career, I was offered multiple partnerships with well known skincare brands across the esthetics industry. On the surface, it looked aligned, visibility, access to professional products, and opportunities to grow.

But behind the scenes, I quickly realized something most clients never see.

These partnerships are not built on clinical experience, treatment room results, or long term skin health.

They’re built on sales.

The expectation is simple: promote the product, create content, and drive revenue.

And the moment you stop prioritizing “sell, sell, sell,” or choose not to recommend something that doesn’t genuinely benefit your client, there is always someone else ready to take your place.

That’s when I made a decision to step away completely.
